Emotional development and mental health

A child's emotional state is the foundation of their development and learning.

At SCANDIC we provide:

Social-emotional development classes
Work in the resource room
Neuropsychologist support

Gentle adaptation and person-centered approach

We help children understand their own emotions, build healthy interactions, and feel adult support.

Groups 2–4 years

Groups for children aged 2–4 years provide a gentle start to socialization and learning.

The program is built on learning through play and includes:

Speech and thinking development
Sensory and motor skills
Creative activities
First logical tasks
Emotional-value exercises
English language in play format
Nature-based learning

Classes are short, dynamic, and age-appropriate — without overload, with natural and noticeable progress.

Preparatory group (Pre-school)

Pre-school at SCANDIC is a confident and calm transition to 1st grade for children aged 5–7 years.

The program combines learning, play, and emotional comfort and includes:

School preparation according to the updated NUS program and "Rostok" (mathematics)
Development of speech, logic, memory, and attention
Basics of reading, writing, and mathematics
Financial literacy
English language
Formation of independence and learning motivation
Morning circles, play rituals, relaxation and emotional exercises

Children gradually adapt to the schedule, rules, and learning format without stress and anxiety.

Preparatory group graduates have priority admission to the Lyceum
